My wife was diagnosed with MS in 2004. Since that time we have tried various approaches ranging from the established medical community treatments to various holistic treatments in an attempt to arrive at improved outcomes. For the most part, since 2004, I would say she was functioning at a relatively high level. She hasn’t been 100% for a long time but for the most part still maintained reasonable function.
Shortly before Thanksgiving 2024 she experienced some seizures which proved devastating to her overall condition. Since that time she has been struggling with constant vertigo. She had extreme sensitivity to lights, sound and motion. She was not able to read, use a computer, watch TV or perform basic daily activities which so many of us take for granted. It was a triumph if I could get her to go for a short walk. This explains why I am writing this review. Functional Diagnostic Nutrition is something which our daughter has developed an interest in and she is presently pursuing study in this field.
Upon learning of the severity of her mother’s condition our daughter suggested we investigate a Functional Diagnostic Nutritional approach to her condition. She sent us a link to Alexandra Catrickes, who is a practitioner in this field. Her credentials appear to be impressive. We reached out to her and were given the opportunity to have an interview with her to see if we would be a good fit to work together. She was willing to work with us. We are forever grateful.
She asks direct questions and wants direct honest answers. She seems genuinely interested in hearing from her clients on how they feel and how they react to foods, supplements, environment and all germane factors which can have an impact on your health. She has been very honest with us that this can be a long process to untangle and address the issues the testing and the intake data reveals.
Her approach is logical and comprehensive. I would strongly encourage anyone seeking her services to be candid, open, and honest. Alexandra strikes me as a person who is completely dedicated to the idea that a functional diagnostic nutritional approach can offer improved outcomes for your health.
In just two months of working with Alexandra, my wife has already experienced improved outcomes. She still has a long way to go, and I am very glad Alexandra is on the case.
Alexandra is hard working, responsive, and kind. She has never failed to take the time to answer our questions and concerns – there have been MANY. She also shows interest in educating and sharing information. She makes an effort to leave nothing out. She CARES and has what people call the “fire in the belly” for her craft.
Alexandra strikes me as a person who relentlessly pursues truth. As sure as a compass points north – she is striving to find the truth to offer improved outcomes for her client’s health. I have little doubt Alexandra can, through her work, become a significant foundational pillar in bringing Functional Diagnostic Nutrition into mainstream medical practice.
