The functional approach requires a commitment to finding underlying contributors to symptoms, which are unique in each case. I work tirelessly, spending countless hours on research to connect the dots.
While completing her Ph.D. at Yale University, Alexandra faced a severe decline in health, developing neuropathy, muscle spasms, and claw hand deformity after multiple elbow surgeries.
Once an avid athlete, she struggled with mobility and cognitive issues caused by reactive hypoglycemia and blood sugar drops. Through Functional Diagnostic Nutrition®, she identified mold exposure, her vegetarian diet, and failed medical treatments as key contributors to her condition. By making significant changes to her environment, lifestyle, and nutrition, she regained mobility, restored hand and elbow function, and even corrected spinal issues (lordosis and scoliosis), growing half an inch in her 40s. Inspired by her recovery, she trained as a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition practitioner to help others avoid similar struggles.
Now a Certified Functional Medicine Health Consultant (Kharrazian Institute), board-certified Holistic Health Practitioner, and Dr. Goodenowe Certified, Alexandra specializes in brain wellness.
Alexandra helped her mother recover cognitive function from Alzheimer's and successfully eradicate a resistant MRSA infection inside her prosthetic knee, preventing an amputation after multiple failed surgeries. Inspired by her mom's recovery, she made it her mission to help others dealing with brain issues.
Using functional lab work, intensive research, nutrient dense food, and intelligent bio-hacking, she works to improve cognitive health and overall well-being in her clients. Passionate about helping families navigate neurodegenerative diseases, she focuses on restoring the body's function without relying on conventional diagnoses or treatments.
This is an opportunity for me to learn more about you and your health goals and current complaints. My main priority is only working with clients who are a perfect fit. Prior to the meeting, please respond to all questions.
